Edge protectors
   
           Edge protectors are used to protect the vertical and horizontal angles of products on pallet and to reinforce the entire pallet load.
   
 

They are used at the four corners of the containers/pallets to reduce damages during transport and handling. Edge protectors of the full length of the pallet or of smaller lengths (strap guard) prevent crushing of the horizontal edges of the top containers when strapping is used. Edge protectors also contribute to the increase of the crush resistance and more generally to the strength and stability of the entire pallet load.

In this picture, an employee uses Glue Dots adhesives and DSP to maintain the edge protectors in place before stretch wrapping.
   
  Our edge protectors are made of multiple layers of paperboard as per customer specific needs. They are recyclable with all paper and paperboard products.
